celebrating their partnered conservation efforts.

Saddleback College was highlighted on the NatureScape Garden Tour as a prime example for large landscape sites. Recently, Saddleback College embarked on a significant renovation project spanning its entire campus. The updated landscape design integrates the latest strategies for handling stormwater and dry-weather runoff, incorporating a variety of California native and climate-appropriate plants. The college has also incorporated smart irrigation technology like master valves and flow sensors to optimize water usage.

Through Moulton Niguel’s turf removal program for both commercial and public agencies, Saddleback College removed a staggering 126,564 square feet of turf! In recognition of their exceptional efforts in establishing an environmentally friendly landscape, Moulton Niguel honored Saddleback College with the President’s Water Hero Award. This award not only celebrates Saddleback College’s outstanding work but also acknowledges their invaluable partnership in our shared goal of promoting sustainable communities.
