Educating the Next Generation of Leaders on Water Policy

From our youth to emerging professionals, we appreciate the opportunity to share our experiences and educate the next generation of leaders on local and statewide water issues. We were recently joined by a group of emerging leaders from the Coro Southern California Fellows Program who came to Moulton Niguel to learn how we cost effectively invest in and maintain our water infrastructure to best serve our customers.

We want future leaders to learn from Moulton Niguel’s leadership as an innovator in water management. During the site visit, Coro Fellows learned about the Board’s initiatives and policies regarding long-term planning, data-driven decision-making, and the importance of developing local, regional, and statewide partnerships to address the state’s water reliability needs.

Water & Housing Forum: A Partnership with Moulton Niguel and
the Building Industry Association

In the Fall of 2018, Moulton Niguel and the Building Industry Association partnered to host water forums for our community members to discuss how public agencies and the private sector can work together to ensure south Orange County continues to have a reliable water supply now and in the future.

At our most recent Water & Housing Forum held on June 14, 2019, we welcomed local and statewide speakers to explore the latest proposals being introduced with the State’s new administration and discussed what local and statewide agencies are doing to ensure we continue to support the economic growth of our region.
