A big thank you to everyone that participated in our annual H2O For HOAs event last month! We were excited to collaborate with 12 cities, the County of Orange, and 7 other water districts across Orange County to bring together HOA board members, community managers, professional landscapers, and engaged residents for a day of learning about effective water management strategies and resources.
This year, more than 275 attendees explored: effective methods for conserving water while managing expenses, innovative ways for HOAs to enhance water quality and revamp their landscapes with rebate funding, approaches to private stormwater management that protect our watersheds, and techniques for improving the management of landscape and irrigation contracts.
With HOAs in our service area overseeing millions of square feet of landscaped areas, there are incredible opportunities to enhance sustainability. We value our partnerships with HOAs and surrounding communities and are eager to continue working together on impactful water-saving initiatives in the year ahead!
