MOULTON NIGUEL DOUBLES REBATE FOR TURF REMOVAL PROGRAMS
Now is the perfect time to start planning your drought-resilient landscape! Moulton Niguel has doubled the rebate we offer to customers who participate in NatureScape and other turf removal programs from $2 per sq. ft. to $4 per sq. ft as of July 1.
Thanks to many of our waterwise customers, we are approaching a landmark of 6 million square feet of turf removed, and we are asking our customers to help us hit the mark! Since 2011, Moulton Niguel has provided rebates to customers who replace grass with drought-tolerant plants and landscaping. The result is a remarkable 500 million gallons of water saved. Programs like this have boosted our water resilience and prepared us for current and future challenges.
Converting your lawn to a water-efficient landscape has the added benefit of lowering your water bill.
Moulton Niguel provides the following turf removal programs:
NatureScape is our signature direct-install program that helps residential customers transform their thirsty turf into sustainable habitat havens with California native plants and watershed-friendly garden elements. NatureScape participants receive:
Free pre-qualification landscape and irrigation assessment
50% off design fees
$4 per square foot of turf that is replaced
Our Residential & Commercial Turf Programs allow customers to replace turf with beautiful, climate- appropriate landscaping. Both programs offer a rebate of $4 per square foot of turf that is replaced.
KEEP KIDS CONNECTED WITH OUR ONLINE EDUCATION CENTER
Our enhanced online education center offers a variety of engaging, informative activities for the entire family to enjoy this summer. Choose from interactive modules, entertaining videos and activity booklets to learn about the water cycle, water conservation, healthy watersheds and more.
PERSONALIZED HOME SAVINGS SURVEYS AVAILABLE IN PERSON AND ONLINE
Moulton Niguel’s Water Efficiency experts are available to review your outdoor watering practices and recommend easy ways to save water and money. The consultation is FREE and only takes about 45 minutes. During the consultation, our experts will:
Run your irrigation system and look for leaks, misaligned sprinkler heads and areas of ponding and/or runoff
Check your irrigation controller and recommend a watering schedule based on your landscape
Discuss your indoor water use and provide toilet dye tabs for easy toilet leak diagnosis
