Moulton Niguel Water District is being recognized for excellence in financial reporting by the country’s leading group of government finance experts.
For the third consecutive year, the Government Finance Officers Association has honored Moulton Niguel with its “Triple Crown” award, the organization’s highest honor that recognizes public entities committed to transparency and excellence in financial reporting.

PROJECT COMPLETED: CROWN VALLEY PIPELINE REPLACEMENTS
Moulton Niguel has successfully completed more than $18 million in upgrades to our water transmission and sewer pipelines beneath Crown Valley Parkway—delivered on time and within budget. These improvements will help to ensure safe and reliable service for Moulton Niguel customers. In addition to the new pipelines, crews installed a new recycled water irrigation connection and a traffic signal video detection system for the City that will help to improve traffic flow.
Thank you for your patience throughout this critical project. Please note that work by other entities may still be taking place within Crown Valley Parkway.
INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS: REGIONAL FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Moulton Niguel Water District has resumed work on more than $29 million worth of pipeline upgrades within the Laguna Niguel Regional Park.
These two miles of pipelines are critical for maintaining reliable service to our customers in South Orange County. Once completed, the new pipelines will be more resilient and better prepared to withstand severe storms and seismic events.
Moulton Niguel received a $10.3 million federal grant to offset the costs of the project. We are grateful to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the California Office of Emergency Services for their support of the project.
