Thank you to all who joined Team Moulton Niguel and the City of Aliso Viejo to help clean our local creeks! For the 11th consecutive year, we participated in the annual Aliso Viejo Trails and Creek Clean-up event on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Collectively, with approximately 150 volunteers, our communities collected 800 pounds of trash within the Aliso Creek Watershed! Congratulations to the City on such a great event and to our communities and staff for volunteering their time to help us protect our environment.

We encouraged our communities to join Team Moulton Niguel in cleaning our local creeks and trails. The District is committed to preserving our coastal ecosystems and protecting our environment and we were pleased to bring more community volunteers to this event. We applaud the City of Aliso Viejo for its continued leadership in organizing this great community clean-up.

“For the 11th consecutive year, Moulton Niguel Water District staff has participated in and supported the City of Aliso Viejo’s Trails and Creek clean-up events” said Moy Yahay, environmental programs manager at the City of Aliso Viejo. “We are very grateful for their continued support and partnership with the City on this important community event.”
