Every year, Moulton Niguel conducts approximately 12,000 water quality tests that are independently analyzed at state-of-the-art laboratories. At Moulton Niguel Water District, we’re putting your ratepayer dollars to work – investing in our state-of-the-art water infrastructure. Our ongoing investments ensure safe and reliable water services for our community now and in the future.

Right now, we are working on Phase 4 of an upgrade to our Reservoir Management System. This $9.2 million investment modernizes our facilities in Laguna Niguel and Mission Viejo with more advanced systems and strengthens our emergency preparedness.

As we enter wildfire season, it’s critical that we maintain an adequate local water supply that’s accessible when it’s needed most.

OBSTRUCTED FIRE HYDRANTS: A REMINDER TO KEEP ACCESS CLEAR

As part of our continued commitment to public safety, we are reminding residents and businesses to ensure all fire hydrants are free from obstructions.

Nearby vegetation, debris, parked vehicles, and other items can significantly delay emergency response times. Please clear a 3-foot radius around each hydrant and maintain access at all times.
