As we all support Los Angeles in rebuilding, Moulton Niguel remains prepared locally.
The District operates 28 potable water reservoirs across 22 sites, locally storing more than 155 million gallons of water. We maintain backup generators at critical facilities and service approximately 7,000 fire hydrants throughout our community.
Our team regularly collaborates with the Orange County Fire Authority on local fire preparedness. Last year, we enhanced our fire response capabilities by installing a new pipeline and two new hydrants for OC Fire Authority’s Helicopter Hydrant, which can refill its 7,500-gallon tank in under 5 minutes.
Moulton Niguel staff are certified by the National Incident Command System and regularly train for any emergency.
