Moulton Niguel Welcomes Two New Board Members

Moulton Niguel Water District is welcoming two long-standing community leaders to its 7-member Board of Directors: Kelly Jennings and Bill Moorhead. Although new members of the Board of Directors, both Jennings and Moorhead are familiar faces at the District. Jennings, a Laguna Niguel resident and Director of Operations at Mission Lutheran Church, spent more than two decades advocating for clean, reliable and affordable water while working at Moulton Niguel. Moorhead, a Mission Viejo resident and Principal Engineer at the City of Anaheim, has served as a member of Moulton Niguel’s Citizens Advisory Committee for nearly 20 years.

The State of California awarded Moulton Niguel with its Governor’s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award (GEELA). The GEELA is the State’s highest honor recognizing organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made notable, voluntary contributions in conserving California’s precious resources, protecting and enhancing our environment, building public-private partnerships and strengthening the state’s economy.

As one of only 10 agencies recognized this year, we’re proud to be honored by the State for our environmental leadership. Our work in developing data-driven solutions and water education programs has saved millions of dollars for our customers while developing innovative strategies towards improving statewide sustainable water management!
